A touch of summer in mid-winter - Jessica Brown Fine Art

A touch of summer in mid-winter

It’s taken me a while to write this, as quite frankly there’s been so much going on in the world that I didn’t know where to start.
2020 was challenging, and downright devastating for so many, and here we are starting 2021 in another lockdown.

Which is why I’ve decided to focus on my little corner of the globe – specifically my studio! For me personally last year was a big success. I have a much larger, brighter studio, thanks to our house move in the autumn; and I’ve sold more paintings than ever before –  increasingly directly from my website – for which I couldn’t be more grateful.

If you read my newsletter last time, you may remember I’d started a new series of paintings  back in August called ‘Summer Dreams’.  Our house move meant these pieces have taken a while to emerge. Creating sunny vibes in my new studio as the rain lashed down outside was a fun challenge!  But now these paintings are here, I’m so excited to share them.

At a time when holidays for many of us are a distant memory, I hope these pieces will bring a little sunshine into your life.  You are the first to see many of these pieces as most have not been shared anywhere else.  I hope you like them.
